I’m married, I can’t afford to pay you.

One of the more frustrating things in Consulting: clients who ask you to work for free.

I’ve had two in the last month, one client asked me to work for free because he’s married!

  2. After our initial meeting, he sent me a couple of e-mails where he addressed me as Friend and Boss. I sympathize with the guy’s situation but I have own expenses that I need to take care of.
